The cpt-city package

The entire archive of cpt files can be obtained in the following ways:

As a compressed tar archive, cpt-city_1.22-1.tar.gz, which provides the usual ./configure, make install installation. See the file README for detailed instructions.
Debian users can install the archive cpt-city_1.22-1_all.deb with dpkg -i, or add the line
```
  deb http://sview01.wiredworkplace.net/pub/cpt-city/pkg/ ./
```
to their sources.list for automatic updates.

The package will try to make a symbolic link from GMT_cpt-city in the GMT home directory to the installed cpt directory. In this way, the cpt files are treated by GMT’s programs as built-in, and can be used without specifying an absolute path. For example

  makecpt -Ccpt-city/ggr/Sunrise -T0/10/1

will use the Gimp gradient Sunrise.
